Bring me MORE!

Hi guys!! Thanks for the support, comments, suggestions, positive criticism, etc. I know I haven't posted any foodie experience recently and that's due to some advice and also logistics, so I have decided that I will be posting every Thursday from now henceforth. Thank you so much, and I hope we continue to grow this experience of ours together. If you haven't read my previous posts, please do so (on my knees....not really, but it would mean a lot to me if you do. Thank you) Now to my story of the day!!!!!

You know as a lady, we have a lot of guys that say they like us. Well, on this fateful day, one of such guys buzzed me, and was like he wants to take me out for lunch. I said, ”sure, no problem.” (Guys!! C’mon, I’m a foodie what do you expect me to say??) Fortunately, I was going through my timeline on Twitter (lol Twitter is one of my favourite social media apps) when I came across a picture of a yummy burger meal someone ordered from Dunes Grill & Burger Bar, located at 44 Aguiyi Ironsi Street Maitama. So, I mentioned to him that why don’t we have lunch there and he obliged.

On getting to Dunes center, locating the place was pretty easy. There were few people when we arrived and more people kept coming as time passed by. When the waiter came to take our order, I immediately ordered a Chicken burger meal (which was on the picture that attracted me to the place) which comes with chips, I also ordered a bottle of water. He ordered fried rice, coleslaw, and chicken with a bottle of water. (Mind you don’t order their large water because it’s LARGE – it’s best for a group of people who want to share and drink water) I queried him as to why doesn’t he want to try out something different from the norm, and in his own words, “eating burger outside fit embarrass person”.

The waiter was friendly and kept updating us on the progress of our meal which didn’t take time to arrive. So, when our meals arrived, I didn’t waste time having a bite out of the burger and my oh my, the burger was so yummy, compared to others I have had in the past. The bread they used was so soft I was just smiling internally as I was munching my burger. The chips that came along with the burger was crispy just the way I like it, I so wanted more (but I couldn’t do Oliver Twist for this guy). The coleslaw that came with my meal was tasty too. A little confession; the guy’s meal was tasty and delicious too, I can testify because I ate a little out of his – LOL (Don’t blame me abeg). The price was affordable, the ambience nice and the service on point too. So in summary;
