MY MAUBBY’S PURPLE BOX EXPERIENCE

So, I was looking for a healthy restaurant to go have lunch with a friend (lol all these Team FitFam people) and then I stumbled upon Maubby’s Purple box on Instagram (IG). So eager to try something new, my friend and I got to the location; Maitama Amusement Park. To our surprise, the place was quite difficult to locate simply because there was no sign board outside to indicate where the restaurant was, which doesn’t make sense at all. Had to ask someone, who then directed us to where the restaurant was located in the park. (Not a good beginning to my food adventure, I must say)

They have these nice art paintings inside, as a lover of art I liked that since it helped me settle into the place and enjoy the ambience, didn’t care much about what my friend was feeling at that point LOL. After going through their menu, I was so looking forward to ordering their Greek yoghurt. Guess WHAT?? I was shocked when they said all the drinks on their menu wasn’t available (like which kind restaurant is this one??) So we had to order water but I guess shit happens. Anyways, I ordered Avocado chicken salad with water and my friend ordered fish fillet salad with water (just imagine the combo). It took close to 40 minutes before our meal arrived (thank God for the conversation between my friend and I that helped pass the time) but it really took long for the food to come to be honest. Their salad bowl was quite big and affordable. The prices for the avocado chicken salad and the fish fillet salad were reasonable fair.

The avocado chicken salad was quite tasty, and delightful. The fish fillet salad was surprisingly good, the fish was tender, moist and delicious, and quite tasty. I believe this was due to it being well seasoned or spiced with the needed vegetables. The vegetables complimented the fish fillet salad so well that my friend said, “I won’t mind coming back for some more”, and on that note, let me give my first ever review;

Ambience: 6/10
Service:     4/10
Price:         8/10
Food:       6/10 (would have been higher, if not for the non-availability of drinks)

  5. Yen yen yen! Good food yes. Who is the friend? Please I'll like to substitute the friend so long as it's a food run.

    On a real though, this is could and this will help make food spots more aware and know customers are watching. With this, they can gain customers or lose them really fast. Keep it up.

    P. S. Try dropping reviews too on Google Maps and a link to your blog. Lol.

  7. I like this blog, its a great idea. But wait o, how can they not have most of what is on the menu?! that is not a good 1st impression. I think there should also be a score for being able to locate these places, because for me it shows he importance they put on outdoor advertisement. Great job guys

  10. Maubbys food is delicious. Sooo delicious. But I knew one day attention would be drawn to their ridiculously long waiting time. I used to order their food during my calls in the hospital and sometimes I'ld have forgotten I ordered till 2 hrs later when the food comes. I still love it though and their portions are awesome.
