The Arranged Date

Thank you so much for your support so far. So, my friend set me up on this date (everyone seems to think I need a serious boyfriend - Lol), so the guy called and asked me to pick out a spot to hangout and I chose Figaros Pizza (I always wanted to try out a new pizza spot – got tired of Dominos and their wahala) it’s located at Ruby Center, 762, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse II just after Emab plaza in the same building with Kilimanjaro.

As I walked into the restaurant, I already loved the ambience and observed paintings on the wall which I loved, the glass windows and doors are also a nice concept which allows the beautiful view of the street of Wuse II on a quiet Sunday evening, they also had USB charging point next to our table which I think was fab! (for those of us that love to carry our charger everywhere) Oh yea! You also get free WiFi!

The menu had varieties of pizza options but we played it safe and ordered the pepperoni pizza (thick crust) and chicken wings, we both had water. Our order came in about 10 minutes and the waitress was extra friendly, she seemed to have a strong persuasive attitude as she wanted us to have their ice cream as well (lol forgot to order that as we were extra full after the meal). I will definitely go back there for their ice cream and shrimp pizza (I’d like to know how’s that’s going to taste!) Also, I will like to apologize, I really don’t know what’s happening to me, we had gone about half way through the pizza when I realized that I haven’t taken a picture of the pizza or the chicken wings. (Palm to face) To be honest I can’t believe it’s happening AGAIN!!

Regardless, I really enjoyed the pizza because it was moist and cheesy (just the way I like it). I can’t say the same for the wing, it was extra dry, not well seasoned and it was quite hard (no be party chicken I order now). Ps; I didn’t understand the taste of the wings; they need to make it juicier and well-seasoned.
