The Date that never stops Giving

So, you all remember my last review, titled, “the Arranged Date”? Well, I would say both the guy and myself really enjoyed our time together that we kept talking and chatting since then. Furthermore, he offered to take me out again since he discussed that I was a foodie and I write about places and their foods, he then said he knows a place that I would like, he recommended Traffic Bar Missouri and I said why not (free food and maybe something extra – not like that joor; bad minded people like you all – LOL).

If truth be told, I never would have thought that Traffic would have a place like this because the on one I knew as at then was the on one Gana Street, Maitama, but this one is located at 8, Missouri Street, Off Colorado Close, Maitama, Abuja. The place, I would say is amazing but remember that Friday that rain decided to fall none stop till like past 4pm? That was the day we went because he had just closed from work and we got there like 530pm so the place was a bit damp with water. Regardless, the ambience was great because of the nice décor they used, also, the cool music being played was just right for the evening. I just love the sit out area (plenty fresh air), they also have an indoor area, what caught my eye as we walked in was the large drawing of Traffic and the jean trousers with better bums.

After getting ourselves seated, the waitress was very polite, friendly, courteous, and I must say helpful (I will get to this later). Subsequently going through the menu, we ordered for Mexican rice and Spanish rice respectively, in addition we decided to share a portion of chicken wings with a bottle of water and coke. While we were waiting for our menu to arrive and also enjoying our gist, another customer started smoking and it was affecting him, he indicated to the waitress that would it be possible to arrange for another table for us due to the smoke, and she acknowledged and made the necessary arrangement for us to be moved.

Our meal took about 20 minutes to arrive, the Mexican rice I had was nice, noticed it had some little beef and sausage inside of it while the Spanish rice he had had little beef and chicken in it (you know I had to taste it now – someone said girls tasting out of a guy’s food is now like a norm, please is that true??), which was a nice touch. The chicken wings was also nice, was properly well done and seasoned accordingly. I really did enjoy the meal and the outing. I won’t mind going back there again for another hangout with my girls sha. Regardless, I wasn’t really wowed by both the rice we ordered, as a matter of fact I was wondering what was special about the rice sef but that’s my own personal opinion, on that note here is my ratings:

Ambience:          9/10
Service:              8/10
Price:                  7/10
Food:                  7/10
